A very strong detail in arabic architecture is the pattern. In this ,the pattern has become
3-dimensional and given the function of being a load-bearing construction.
A cubic mesh seems solid on a distance but from a close range, it opens up and makes the visitor see through the building. An everchanging pattern appears when moving around and inside the building. Advertising thin glasswalls are scattered around the building, imitating its interior.
