The widely debated infrastructure project Stuttgart21 is taking form. This will change travel in the region, letting trains pass through the city instead of, as before, losing time because of the terminus design. The new station, with its uniquely designed roof lantern/columns is part of the pan-European train line from Paris to Budapest. Furthermore, the city offers a wide range of architectural highlights; from Weissenhof to Stirling’s Staatsgalerie to the flagship buildings of Porsche and Mercedes.
