Baakenhafen, HafenCity, Hamburg

HafenCity is Hamburg’s former central docks, now part of the inner city. In its eastern part, we find the still (as of 2022) undeveloped Baakenhafen. From there, one has a great and unique view of Hamburg. In 2011, Skåtar collaborated with AMF to create a series of sketches for the site. The team focused on temporary structures for starting a debate on Baakenhafen’s future.
