KALMAR ART MUSEUM

Fredrik Skåtar participated in the competition for a new art museum in Kalmar, Sweden. The site was just next to an existing restaurant from the 1950s, and the proposal chose to borrow some modernist style, using primary colours on white concrete. The project encompassed vast research on indirect, northern light, testing the light quality with large scale models.
