Water ceiling

WATER CEILING

Competition for a new entrance design at the School of Medical Sciences, Örebro, Sweden. A long roof, from the street to the building entrance. Its ceiling is a topographical sculpture interpreting the shapes of water ripples. The high-polished surface generates water-like reflections.

Materials: Aluminium slabs, polished to mirror-like reflection, steel pillars.
Dimensions: 8 x 20 x 6 m (width x length x height).
