“Fredrik’s teaching style is focused on enabling. I imagine him going somewhat like: ‘What kind of topics should be touched, which points of view considered, which skills taught, in order for my students to bring out the best from their project ideas?’. And he delivers. His lectures are fast-paced, but crystal clear and anyway always open for repetitions/clarification/detailing. He teaches as directly as possible, trying to discern what ideas are central and worth developing (with very high theoretical sensibility) and simply discarding those that are not, without fuss. The result, as in my student experience, is a fresh, clean, efficient nurturing of what is already there. That’s why I say he ‘enables’. Oh, and he is very nice too.”

Working with Fredrik has been a pleasure from the beginning: The availability for project discussion during extra hours and his technical knowledge within the design and architecture world, together with his enthusiasm developing new ideas and new shapes, are, in my opinion, some of the key points which defines Fredrik's teaching method. His contribution to create an optimal environment for students to learn and improve their design skills has been essential and I hope that other students could be as lucky as i was.”

His open-mindedness, knowledge and passion lead him to welcome new ideas with enthusiasm. He is able to create a relaxed but productive working atmosphere."
— Bachelor student, Free University of Bolzano, Italy, 2020. “Working with Fredrik was spontaneous and stimulating right from the start, despite the difficulties in carrying out a telematic product design project. His teaching method is simply to give proper space to every idea, however unconventional they may be, and then intelligently and meticulously discuss, test and test more and more in order to finally fall in love with the final concept. He helped me not only to improve my skills in digital modeling and rendering, especially with Grasshopper and Twinmotion, but also to always remember that not only functionality, form and structure are important but also feeling and fascination.”
